Growth The Town of Monument has been aggressively annexing property and approving new development on a course to more than double the town, both in land and population, within the next five years. Land from within the Triview Metropolitan District has been the source of aggressive annexation, rezoning and residential development approvals by the Town of Monument during 2006. The annexation of the following developments (during the late 2005 to 2006 time frame) will increase the number of Dwelling Units (or residences) in the town by 1500 +/-, effectively doubling the population:
